BEAST's Yoon Doo Joon Has Jung Hyung Don's Back During Family Emergency

The upcoming episode of JTBC’s “Package Tour Around the World” (working title) will see the cast (Kim Yong Man, Jung Hyung Don, Ahn Jung Hwan, and Kim Sung Joo) set off on a package tour to Switzerland. However, instead of Jung Hyung Don, a special guest appeared– BEAST’s Yoon Doo Joon.

A source explained to reporters, “Jung Hyung Don’s mother was very ill. As she was in critical condition, Jung Hyung Don had to stay by her side, so he could not participate in the filming.”

After hearing about the news, Yoon Doo Joon had decided to substitute for his friend just three days before the departure flight for Switzerland.

The source added, “Jung Hyung Don’s mother is feeling much better now.”

Yoon Doo Joon and Jung Hyung Don became close after working together on MBC’s “Sunday Night– Danbi.” In filling in for his friend, Yoon Doo Joon also reunited with Kim Yong Man, who had also worked on “Sunday Night– Danbi.”

“Package Tour Around the World” is about men in their 40s, who have been living so busily that they have no time for themselves, going on package tours. In the upcoming episode, fans can look forward to Yoon Doo Joon’s mukbang (eating) skills as he adapts swimmingly to the Swiss food that the other members could not get used to. It was revealed that he had cleared two bowls of food within minutes, scarfing down the unfamiliar cuisine without pause even as the other members hesitated about trying it.

The episode with Yoon Doo Joon will air on January 24, 10:50 p.m. KST.
