T-ara to Return with Retro Concept, Remake of "Bing Geul Bing Geul"

T-ara is giving a shot once more at a retro concept. On July 19th, T-ara’s agency Core Contents Media stated that T-ara would be releasing a new single which would be a remake of Na Mi’s “Bing Geul Bing Geul” which was a big hit in the 80s. T-Ara’s new song will try to keep the bright and fresh aspects of the song while giving it a more modern feel. On July 1st, T-ara had released the song “Roly Poly” and currently they are heading retro concepts. Currently, T-ara will have their first Japanese single in September, and start their entrance into the Japanese music industry.

T-ara’s Hyomin Faints, Rushed to Hospital

T-ara’s Hyomin fainted in the van on her way to an interview and has been rushed to the hospital, local media reported moments ago. “Hyomin filmed MBC drama ‘Gyebaek’ in the province early morning today, and was on her way to do an interview for her new movie ‘Gisaeng Ryung’ in Seoul, before she fainted in the car,” her representative said.

This week on K-Pop Music Monday, Eat Your Kimchi reviews MBLAQ’s "Mona Lisa" MV. EYK was a little underwhelmed by the actual video, with the exception of Thunder’s dance outfit… which consisted of a man skirt, leotard, fishnet shirt, leather vest, and leather gloves. To make matters worse, the rest of the members were dressed quite normally, bringing up the possibility that the stylist just had it in for poor Thunder.

2PM to Start Asian Tour in September

2PM will go on an Asian tour this September starting with two concerts in Seoul. It was announced today that the group’s second solo concert, “2PM HANDS UP ASIA TOUR,” will begin on September 2nd and 3rd in Seoul, with plans of visiting other Asian countries until November.

Park Jung Hyun, Kim Jo Han, and Yoon Do Hyun Team Up for Special Cover of Eagles’ “Desperado”

On Sunday’s episode of MBC “I Am a Singer,” Park Jung Hyun, Kim Jo Han, and Yoon Do Hyun got together for a surprise cover performance of the Eagles’ 1973 hit single, “Desperado.” As three of the most powerful singers in Korea, the trio put on one of the most inspirational performances we’ve seen in a long time, as they flawlessly turned the track into an emotional R&B song.

JYJ Junsu’s Twin Brother Juno to Debut in Japan with Hamasaki Ayumi

JYJ Junsu’s twin brother Juno will debut in Japan with a duet track featuring popular female singer Hamasaki Ayumi, local media reported today. According to Juno’s Korean agency Media and Partners, Juno recently received a duet song request from Hamasaki Ayumi. Juno was already preparing for his first Japanese single and photo album, so he accepted the offer and joined the recording of Hamasaki Ayumi’s new single “Why” and new album “Five.” The release date is August 31st, which is also the same date that Juno’s Japanese debut single, “Fate,” will come out.
