A lot of attention is being focused on whether City Hunter will have a second season because of its open-ended ending. When asked whether there would be a second season, Jin Hyuk PD stated, “Are you considering a second season?” He replied “No, it’s only possible if Lee Min Ho would be willing to.”

Lee Min Ho Gets 400,000 More Chinese Fans after End of “City Hunter”

The number of Lee Min Ho’s fans in China has been growing at an exponential rate lately, especially following the end of his hit drama, “City Hunter.” According to local media, Lee Min Ho saw the number of followers on his “Weibo” account, which is China’s equivalent of Twitter, increase a staggering 400,000 to a total of 1.3 million after “City Hunter” ended last week. This has led to a spike in his merchandise sales as well, Chinese local media reported, as it said, “Lee Min Ho not only has become China’s biggest pop icon, but the suit and every clothing item he wore on ‘City Hunter’ has been selling out like ‘crazy.’”

Warrior Baek Dong Soo: Stays at #1 for Mon-Tue TV Ratings

SBS’s Mon-Tue drama “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” achieved number one for viewership ratings in its time slot. According to the AGB Nielson Ratings, the episode of “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” that aired on August 1st received 16.3%. On July 26th the viewership rating was 16.7%, although Augst 1st ratings reduced by 0.4% “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” maintained number one. The other two dramas that play in the same time slot, MBC’s “Gye Baek” and KBS 2TV’s “Spy Myungwol” each respectively had 10.1% and 7.2%.

Making a cameo appearance as a popular singer with his real-life name “Junsu,” JYJ’s star singer held a live concert in front of more than 500 fans for a scene in the episode scheduled to air on August 6th.

JYJ Jaejoong’s Chinese Fans Deliver Food Worth 4 Million Won to “Protect the Boss” Production Team

JYJ Jaejoong’s Chinese fans have delivered food worth 4 million won ($4,000 USD) to about 100 members of the SBS drama “Protect the Boss” production team. On July 30th, members of Jaejoong’s Chinese fan club got together at the shooting site of SBS drama “Protect the Boss” in Paju, just outside of Seoul, bringing 10 types of different food, including salad and sandwich, under the slogan, “Go with you, Never stop.” The president of the fan club, Wang Ruo Ran, talked every crew member, telling them, “Please support Jaejoong.”
