BoA, SNSD, KARA, 2NE1 to Attend Year-End Music Shows in Japan

Top K-Pop stars, BoA, SNSD, KARA and 2NE1, will be attending some of the best year-end music festivals in Japan.

BoA, SNSD and KARA will participate in Fuji TV’s “2011 FNS Music Festival“on December 7, which is an annual event that showcases Japan’s top artists and international guests.

The Fuji TV official website revealed the final guest list for the FNS Music Festival on November 8. BoA has attended the event in 2004 and 2005, while SNSD attended last year after their debut in Japan. This will be KARA’s first time at the festival.

Many top Japanese stars such as Arashi, W-inds, AKB48, EXILE, KinKi Kids, SMAP, B6, TOKIO, and SPEED will be attending as well.

Along with BoA, who recently celebrated her 10th anniversary in Japan, SNSD and KARA’s presence at the festival will have great meaning due to their active promotions and immense success in Japan this year. There will be even more meaningful moments as many artists are expected to sing songs of strength and comfort in light of the earthquake in Japan several months ago.

Addtionally, 2NE1, who had a strong and successful debut in Japan this year, will also attend a music festival. Along with KARA, 2NE1 will be attending the “2011 Best Hit Music Festival,” which is produced by Nippon TV. They are expected to perform alongside AKB48, EXILE and other famous Japanese artists.

Therefore, four k-pop teams will be participating in Japanese music festivals at the end of the year. It will surely be a meaningful and influential moment for the future of the Hallyu in Japan.
