Shinhwa Frustrates Eric by Focusing on “Spy Myung Wol’s” Han Ye Seul

Rom-com “Spy Myung Wol,” starring Shinhwa’s Eric and Han Ye Seul, premiered last night with a splash, delighting viewers with beautiful casts and beautiful sceneries. Earlier today, Eric released a screen capture of his group texts with fellow Shinhwa members on his Twitter and tweeted, “I wonder if Andy, who I can’t get in touch with because he’s in the military, is talking about me? All the rest of our members [of Shinhwa] are only talking about Ye Seul and Hee Jin…Jin Wook and I were in the drama too.”  

The screen capture was taken after “Spy Myung Wol” aired last night and displayed the conversations between Shin Hye Sung (real name Jung Pil Gyo), Jun Jin (real name Park Choong Jae), Lee Min Woo, and others. Aside from Lee Min Woo’s “Eric looks hot. Pelicana fellow,” all the other texts were about drama’s actresses.

“Spy Myung Won” is refreshing summer romantic-comedy about Han Myung Wol (Han Ye Seul), a North Korean spy attempting to steal a treasure from a top Hallyu star Kang Woo (Eric) in order to regain her honor back home, only to have things spin out of her control as she unexpectedly falls for him. Meanwhile, “Spy Myung Wol” recorded a viewership rating of 9.6% (AGB Nielsen) for its first episode. Its second episode will air tonight, July 12th, on KBS at 9:55PM KST.
