G.NA MV Teaser for “Banana”
G.NA released the MV teaser for “Banana.” As Cube Entertainment had stated, regardless of the controversy over MBC’s banning the song, they would continue to promote the song and G.NA’s comeback promotions. On August 17th, MBC decided that the content was too explicit and it would not be aired for its broadcasting company. However, representatives of G.NA stated that the song was not intended to be explicit in anyway. It is odd because, KBS and SBS do not have any issue with the song.
[Update] MBC Bans G.NA’s New Song "Banana," "Too Suggestive"
“Banana” which is the new song that G.NA will begin her comeback with just got censored from MBC, because the lyrics were "too suggestive.” On August 17th, MBC decided that the content was too explicit and it would not be aired for its broadcasting company. However, representatives of G.NA stated that the song was not intended to be explicit in anyway. It is odd because, KBS and SBS do not have any issue with the song. Cube Entertainment stated on August 19th, “The new title ‘Banana’ has received a restriction by MBC. However the song was not made with any intention of being explicit. ‘Banana’ is a song about a female figure that is confident. The hip hop song contains a chorus with the lyrics ‘banana~’ and the song has the theme of living today in a different way, starting again with fresh perspective.”
G.NA Models Calvin Klein Jeans
G.NA, known for her perfect S-line figure, modeled Calvin Klein Jeans’ fall collection. Even in simple jeans and a long-sleeved t-shirt, the singer exudes sexiness. The photoshoot will be in the September edition of Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and W magazines.
G.NA’s New Album to Feature Wheesung
On August 16th, G.NA revealed the track list for her upcoming second mini album through a press release. The title track, “Top Girl,” is produced by hit maker Kim Do Hoon, composed by Lee Sang Ho, and written by R&B singer Wheesung. With an addictive melody and refined sound, “Top Girl” is expected to be another hit song, just like her previous hits “Black & White” and “Nice to Meet You.”
The First "United Cube Concert-Fantasy Land" is Held
On August 14th at 6:30PM in Songpa-gu, Seoul at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium the first ever Cube family concert was held. The concert named, “United Cube Concert-Fantasy Land” featured performances by the popular acts 4Minute, Beast, and G.NA. The Cube concert saw hundreds of spectators in attendance for the outdoor stage.

When we see comeback news any Kpop fan is beside themselves with excitement, well, this time the news is slightly bittersweet. Yes, G.NA’s comeback is imminent, but it has now been delayed.
G.NA’s "Miero" Summer Story Before Comeback
G.NA revealed her very own summer story before her comeback. Currently G.NA is a model for the Miero drink in South Korea and the concept for promotions was her having fun on a summer vacation. Through the Miero website, you can see her having fun in the water at a resort and also different related episodes. The “Miero Summer Vacation” promotions will show G.NA’s sexy charms. The first clip shows G.NA looking more slim than before and also introduces the other beautiful participants.
