The July 9th episode of MBC’s Music Core was an important one as it marked the last day for SHINee member MC’s MinHo and Onew. Once the episode aired the duo left a bittersweet message full of gratitude to fans on the group’s official site. Here is what they had to say:

This week’s MBC “Music Core” was a very special episode as it bid farewell to the two main MCs, Minho and Onew. They announced their decision to leave the show after eight months of hosting alongside Suzy and Jiyeon. Todays’ show also had comeback stages by Hyun Ah, ZE:A, Girl’s Day, and The Grace- Dana & Sunday. But f(x), Rainbow, Rania, and N-Train had their goodbye performances. On MBC "Music Core" this Saturday, during the climax of FT Island’s performance of "Hello Hello," T-ara’s Jiyeon’s voice was heard for a few seconds on live national television.
Nichkhun’s Heartwarming Birthday Celebration Photo with Parents
On the 24th, 2PM’s Nichkhun revealed a birthday celebration photo taken with his parents on his me2day. He wrote “Mom and dad’s surprise party!!!! I haven’t been this blissful for a long time.” In the photo, Nichkhun is flashing a bright smile while posing warmheartedly with his parents who came to Korea to visit him and celebrate his birthday. Nichkhun’s mom, who has appearance in a Korean CF in the past, attracted much attention for holding a cake with candles that say “I ♥ YOU.”

f(x) to Release “Hot Summer” MV on the 17th
f(x) will be releasing their “Hot Summer” MV through their SM Entertainment’s official YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/smtown) tomorrow! The music video, which was shot early June by director Hong Won Ki (MV director of SHINee’s “Hello” Super Junior-M’s “Taewanme”) at the sets located in Incheon Song Doh and Nam Yang Joo.
