April Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings Revealed

The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety stars!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the media coverage, participation, communication, and social indexes of 36 popular entertainers using data from March 2 to April 1.

Yoo Jae Suk rose to the top of this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,599,706, achieving an impressive 154.78 percent increase from his March score.

The comedian’s popular MBC variety program “Infinite Challenge” announced last month that it would be ending its 13-year run with a season finale on March 31. Accordingly, high-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “Infinite Challenge,” “ending,” and “MBC.” Yoo Jae Suk’s highest-ranking related terms also included “thank you,” “sincerity,” and “I feel regretful.”

Jun Hyun Moo, who claimed No. 1 on last month’s list, came in at a close second in this month’s rankings. He recorded a brand reputation index of 4,324,533 for April, marking a 18.94 percent decrease from his previous score.

Lee Sang Min, who was recently announced as one of the new MCs of MBC Every1’s variety show “Weekly Idol,” jumped up two spots to take third place with a brand reputation index of 2,379,709. His April score marked a 36.63 percent increase from March.

Kim Jong Kook rose to fourth place on the list with a brand reputation index of 2,031,335, while Park Na Rae rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 1,735,394.
