PENTAGON And Red Velvet Join Line-Up For KCON 2018 NY

Red Velvet and PENTAGON will both be performing at KCON 2018 NY!

Previously announced artists are Super Junior, fromis_9, NCT 127, Stray Kids, Heize, EXID, and Wanna One.

PENTAGON is a 10-member boy group that debuted on October 10, 2016 with their first EP “PENTAGON,” including title track “Gorilla.” Their third EP “Ceremony,” released in 2017, became their first U.S. chart entry and took number 14 on Billboard’s World Album Chart. Recently, PENTAGON made a comeback with their sixth Korean EP “Positive,” with the lead single “Shine.”

Red Velvet is a South Korean girl group that debuted in August of 2014 with their digital single “Happiness.” Red Velvet has experienced huge success in Korea and overseas with albums like “The Red,” “Rookie,” and “The Red Summer” topping Billboard’s World Album Chart. Recently, the group entered the Top 10 of Billboard’s Social 50 chart for the first time after releasing “Bad Boy.” In March 2018, Red Velvet performed at a North-South Korea concert in Pyongyang, North Korea.

KCON 2018 NY will be held from June 23 to 24 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Concert tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 11 at 3 p.m. EDT, while convention tickets will become available on Monday, May 14 at 3 p.m. EDT.

KCON USA will also be holding a Los Angeles edition of its 2018 event, which will take place from August 10 to 12 at the Staples Center & LA Convention Center.
