"Lawless Lawyer" Cast Has All The Fun Between Takes

The cast of “Lawless Lawyer” has thus far boasted incredible chemistry on-screen, whether it’s the crackling tension between Lee Joon Gi and Choi Min Soo or the bouncy banter between Lee Joon Gi and his partner-in-law, Seo Ye Ji.

No doubt the chemistry is in part a product of the easy atmosphere that the actors create off-camera. In behind-the-scenes photos from “Lawless Lawyer,” Lee Joon Gi and Choi Min Soo, on-screen enemies, can’t stop smiling and laughing around each other. A source from the drama said, “The synergy that comes from the pairing of Lee Joon Gi and Choi Min Soo transcends your expectations every time. It’s the product of their endless teamwork and passion on set.”

Likewise, Seo Ye Ji and Lee Joon Gi are just as bright behind the scenes, looking every bit the on-screen couple that they are as they goof off on the beach and make each other laugh. Regarding the latest episode, Lee Joon Gi said, “I did my best to show Bong Sang Pil’s feelings toward Ha Jae Yi (Seo Ye Ji), who he comforts for her past scars. The two characters’ emotions were portrayed well, so I think the scenes came out nicely.” Seo Ye Ji said, “There was the first kiss scene, where [Ha Jae Yi] and Bong Sang Pil first confirm their feelings toward each other. I was a little shy, but director Kim Jin Min said the scene came out well, like a first love, so I was happy.”

“Lawless Lawyer” airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. KST on tvN.
