Ahn Hyo Seop Talks About Future Projects And Shows Support For GOT7
Ahn Hyo Seop recently sat down for an interview to discuss his latest work “30 but 17,” future projects, and his days as an idol trainee.
Talking about his next project with ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo titled “Top Management,” he stated, “Because it was something I wasn’t able to do before, I was able to relieve my curiosity. I was glad to have this new experience. I play the role of a brilliant producer who is extremely unique, so I had a lot to prepare for. I had to know how to handle a Mongolian instrument, and I also practiced the piano and guitar. I actually recorded about three songs and learned a lot about dancing, but it was a good time.”
He then talked about how he was scouted as a JYP Entertainment trainee and how he almost debuted as a member of GOT7. When asked if he still contacted them, Ahn Hyo Seop stated, “It’s been a while since I’ve contacted them. I’ll occasionally exchange text messages with Jackson asking how he’s doing. I’m always supporting them.”
The actor then revealed that he does not have plans of becoming a singer. Ahn Hyo Seop previously released an album with Kwak Si Yang, Song Won Suk, and Kwon Do Kyun as the project group One O One. He stated, “The reason the project group was formed was to sing for our fans. I didn’t do any promotional activities myself, and just released the music. Many people mistook me for a singer because of that.”
After debuting in 2015 and appearing in dramas such as “Father Is Strange,” “One More Happy Ending,” and “Splash Splash Love” in just four years, many are anticipating his future projects as well.
In reply, Ahn Hyo Seop remarked, “I just want to be an actor who always acts sincerely. I think each cut is important. I want to be a truthful actor without acting carelessly in any scene. Rather than thinking of how I can shine in front of others, I want to be an actor of true emotions.”
