Block B’s Zico, INFINITE’s L, B1A4’s Jinyoung, And More Confirmed To Attend 2018 Asia Artist Awards
Even more stars will be joining the 2018 Asia Artist Awards’ star-studded line-up!
The awards ceremony recently confirmed that Block B’s Zico would be joining the singer line-up. The rapper previously won the Best Star Award at the 2017 Asia Artist Awards. Since then, he performed at the inter-Korean summit in Pyeongyang this year.
L has continued to build up his experience as an actor, most recently starring in “Miss Hammurabi.” He previously also appeared in “Ruler – Master of the Mask” and “Master’s Sun.” Though Jinyoung has been active as B1A4’s leader and producer, he has also been busy with various dramas such as “Moonlight Drawn With Clouds,” “Warm and Cozy,” as well as the film “Miss Granny.”
Jang Ki Yong has made memorable appearances in dramas such as “My Ahjussi” and “Go Back Couple.” This year, he took on his first lead role in “Come and Hug Me.” Jin Joo Hyung also took on his first lead role this year with “Sunny Again Tomorrow.” He was previously active in both dramas, such as “Hwarang” and “Suspicious Partner,” and in foreign films, such as Malaysian film “Shun Pong O,” Vietnamese film “Love Again,” and Filipino film “You With Me.”
Actress Kim Da Mi made her debut through the film “The Witch,” beating 1,500 other actresses for the part of Goo Ja Yoon. The film brought in over 3 million moviegoers at the box office.
This year’s awards ceremony will features 20 teams of singers and 20 actors. Idol groups who have confirmed their attendance include BTS, Wanna One, iKON, TWICE, and SEVENTEEN. Actor Lee Byung Hun will also be attending, as well as 2PM’s Junho, as part of the actor line-up.
The 2018 Asia Artist Awards will be held on November 28 at Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon.
