Update: TWICE's Dahyun, Chaeyoung, And Tzuyu Feature In 2018 MAMA's #LikeMAMA Campaign Video

Updated November 15 KST:

The 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards has released another video of TWICE for its #LikeMAMA campaign!

In this clip, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu also talk about the keyword “dreams.”

Tzuyu recalls imagining standing on stage when she was a young girl, while Dahyun also remembers thinking about dazzling stages. Chaeyoung comments, “When I see a cool performance, I think, ‘I want to be like that too.’ I think I thought a lot about how nice it would be if others saw me and thought the same thing.”

Later, the TWICE members gave a few words of advice to other dreamers out there. Dahyun remarks, “Having a dream means you have hope, so I think taking things step by step towards your own growth is great.” Chaeyoung says, “Thinking [about the dream] is the most important step, but merely thinking isn’t going to cause anything to happen in real life. People should try everything they want to.” Tzuyu concludes, “It’d be nice if [the dreamer] believed in themselves and enjoyed themselves without any regrets while running towards their dreams.”

Another group has participated in 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards’ #LikeMAMA campaign!

On November 14, the awards show released a clip of several TWICE members talking about “dreams.”

In the first video, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Nayeon talk about when they began working their way towards their dreams. Jihyo laughs as she remarks that although she doesn’t remember it, she had apparently gone around telling everyone she would become a singer when she grew up. Jeongyeon shares how she had admired Rain and learned his dances. Nayeon adds that she had decided she would take on the goal of becoming an artist before she entered high school.

Later, they talk about making their dreams come true at the Mnet Asian Music Awards over the years. Jihyo talks about how it was her first awards ceremony. Nayeon recalls how when they won their Daesang, they were ecstatic, but also wondered if they were qualified to receive such a great award. Jeongyeon states, “We worked hard. We made our dreams come true.” They later encourage others to also follow their dreams without giving up.

In the next video, Sana, Momo, and Mina also talk about the topic of dreams. The Japanese members recall how they had to make their way towards Korea to follow their dreams. Mina comments, “I was still attending high school, and it wasn’t an easy decision, but because my dream was to become a singer, I thought that I should go for it until I reached [my goal].” Sana admits, “To be honest, there were a lot of difficult moments during that trainee period. I realized that I debuted thanks to so many people around me who gave me support.”

The girls then discuss their dreams for the future. Mina smiles as she says, “Although it might take awhile, I want to perform in as many countries as I can, since there are ONCEs [TWICE’s fandom] all around the world.” Momo offers, “I want to try a different concept to one we’ve already done before, and perform while having fun. I’m excited.” Sana concludes the interview by saying, “I think meeting fans will be a life-long dream of mine, and being a TWICE where all nine members remain irreplaceable.”

MAMA has been releasing videos of artists who have shared special moments in the K-pop world with the awards show. Previously BTS and PSY participated in the campaign and talked about the keywords “challenge” and passion.”

The awards ceremony is currently holding this campaign event for global fans who have supported MAMA during its 10-year run, where they will be able to attend the 2018 MAMA as one of the audience members.
