"SKY Castle" Tops List Of Buzzworthy Dramas For 5th Week In A Row

On January 14, Good Data Corporation released their weekly rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and cast members of the week.

JTBC’s “SKY Castle,” in addition to breaking viewership ratings records, has now topped the list of most buzzworthy dramas for the fifth consecutive week. It also nearly tripled the share of the vote (31.78 percent) compared to its second and third place competitors, SBS’s “The Last Empress” (12.91 percent) and tvN’s “Memories of the Alhambra” (10.23 percent).

Keeping its fourth place spot from last week was tvN’s “Encounter” but the rest of the list featured several new additions: tvN’s “The Crowned Clown,” KBS’s “Liver or Die,” and KBS’s “My Lawyer, Mr. Joe 2: Crime and Punishment.”

On the strength of this week’s episodes, Kim Bo Ra from “SKY Castle” topped the list of the most buzzworthy cast members. This is especially impressive as Kim Bo Ra is still a young actress and the list has previously been topped by heavy-hitters such as Song Hye Kyo, Park Bo Gum, and Hyun Bin. SF9’s Chani, also a “SKY Castle” cast member, ranked No. 9 on the same list this week.
