Highlight's Lee Gikwang Pens Heartfelt Letter To Fans From The Military

Highlight’s official Twitter posted a handwritten letter penned by Lee Gikwang addressed to Highlight’s fans Lights.

The caption reads, “A training soldier’s letter. The first letter that training soldier Lee Gikwang sent to Lights has arrived! Training soldier Lee Gikwang wishes your health and happiness even in the training center, and as he said, eat a lot of delicious meals. Pollen, change of seasons, the flu! Watch out for all of them! Always have a happy and healthy day!”

The following is the letter written by Lee Gikwang:

Hello. This is Gikwang. I am currently training hard as training soldier number 41 in the twenty-fifth regiment, third company, first platoon, and fourth squad at the Nonsan Army Recruit Training Center. I am writing this letter because I thought of Lights in the time I had left after eating lunch on April 20 at 1:18 p.m. KST!! A nice spring day! Are you having a fun time?

Thanks to all of you, I received so much love in the past 10 years, and I enlisted safely surrounded by the support and love from many of you even up to the moment I enlisted in the army. I am very grateful. It’s only been two days, but I already miss the stage we enjoyed together. I will return to your side soon after becoming a wonderful man, wonderful soldier, and wonderful policeman.

Pleasant-feeling spring! I hope you all enjoy your time. Eat a lot of delicious meals. Watch out for pollen, change of seasons, and the flu. I hope you are always happy and healthy. I will now return to my duties. I will return to your side soon.

Lee Gikwang began his basic military training on April 18. He will serve as a conscripted policeman at the Gyeonggi Southern Provincial Police Agency.
