May Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from April 3 to May 4.

TV Chosun’s “Miss Trot” rose to first place on this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 14,058,951, marking an impressive 78.07 percent increase in its score since April. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Song Ga In,” “win,” and “prize money,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “surprising,” “heart-rending,” and “elegant.”

MBC’s “I Live Alone” maintained its position at second place with a brand reputation index of 11,293,193, enjoying a 42.98 percent increase in its score since last month.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” took third place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 8,337,994, marking a slight increase of 5.70 percent from its April score.
