Lee Kyu Han And Park Young Rin To Join Im Soo Hyang In Upcoming Melodrama

Lee Kyu Han and Park Tae In have been confirmed to appear in Im Soo Hyang’s upcoming drama “Graceful Family” (working title).

“Graceful Family” is a melodrama about an heiress (played by Im Soo Hyang) to a chaebol family whose mother was murdered 15 years ago and a third-rate lawyer who will do whatever is necessary for money. They meet and dig into the truth of the past and her family’s mysterious secret.

Lee Kyu Han will be playing MC Group’s eldest son Mo Wan Soo. Growing up, he did everything he could to be acknowledged by his mother who favored his younger sister. However, he was always told that he was lacking and lost his self-esteem. Currently a film director and CEO of a film production company, he appears polite and fun to others but is actually an alcoholic with a feeble personality.

Park Young Rin recently began promoting under her birth name instead of her previous stage name Park Tae In. She will be taking on the role of former lawyer and master manipulator of the media, MC Group’s PR Team Leader Lee Kyung. In charge of creating the image of MC Group’s family as well as other business affairs, she pretends to be chic and to not care, but in fact gets very jealous. She is also a natural player, making it her goal to be able to seduce men even as she gets older.

“Graceful Family” will be directed by Han Chul Soo, who previously directed “My Little Baby,” “Noblewoman,” “Can Love Become Money,” and “Gourmet.” It is written by Kwon Min Soo, who previously wrote “The Blade and Petal,” “When Spring Comes,” “Mom Is Pretty Too,” and “Bodyguard.”

The drama is slated to air in August.
