Oh My Girl's Seunghee Describes What BTS's Jimin And V Were Like In High School

Oh My Girl’s Seunghee talked about her friendship with BTS’s Jimin and V.

On the June 13 episode of KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together,” the MCs asked, “Were you high school friends with BTS?”

Seunghee answered, “Yes, with V and Jimin. In high school, Jimin was in the same class as me and V was in a different class. I knew V first and then Jimin transferred to our school. [V] asked me to take good care of Jimin, so we became friends.”

Describing what the BTS members were like in high school, Seunghee said, “I still remember how all Jimin cared about was practicing. He’d practice until dawn, so he was half a zombie and completely exhausted when he came to school.” She continued, “V would practice dancing while looking at the reflection in the subway screen door. I’d watch him and be so surprised.”

MC Yoo Jae Suk commented, “They [succeeded] because they put in that much effort and worked that hard.”

On the current status of their friendship, the Oh My Girl member explained, “We still contact each other. They’re on tour right now. Whenever I’m going through difficult times, they tell me to talk about it instead of burying it. MAMA was my first award show so I told them I was really nervous, but they told me that I looked really great on stage. I felt really thankful.” BTS and Oh My Girl both performed at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in 2018.
