Lawyer Bang Jung Hyun Claims Seungri Introduced Madam Jung To Yang Hyun Suk + Talks About Her Role In Jung Joon Young's Chatroom

On June 25, lawyer Bang Jung Hyun appeared on CBS Radio’s “Kim Hyun Jung’s News Show” and revealed more information about the recent controversies surrounding Seungri, YG Entertainment, and Jung Joon Young.

Bang Jung Hyun is the lawyer who helped a whistleblower submit a document to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission about YG Entertainment covering up a 2016 drug case using their ties with the police on June 4. He also played a role in sending the KakaoTalk conversation data from Jung Joon Young’s chatroom to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on behalf of another whistleblower.

During the radio program, Bang Jung Hyun stated, “Madam Jung is someone who was acknowledged in [Jung Joon Young’s] chatroom as well. There were already conversations such as ‘Tell that noona to prepare some girls’ in that chatroom.”

He also explained, “I’m also aware that the person who introduced Madam Jung to former executive producer Yang Hyun Suk is Seungri.”

The lawyer added, “Suspicions of [Yang Hyun Suk’s] [prostitution mediation] are from 2014, and Jung Joon Young’s chatroom is from 2015 to 2016, so they had these relations [of mediating prostitution] even before then. Madam Jung was mentioned [in the chatroom] around three times during that time. They were all conversations alluding to prostitution. Because Madam Jung was the one to provide the girls, she seemed like someone who exerted great influence. That’s because if they spoke to Madam Jung, arrangements were always prepared.”

He then commented, “As Madam Jung is related to suspicions concerning [Hang Hyun Suk’s] prostitution mediation, I don’t think the phrase “YG’s Exclusive Madam” would be an exaggeration.”

On June 24, MBC’s “Straight” revealed additional allegations about the involvement of Yang Hyun Suk, PSY, and a YG Entertainment employee in mediating prostitution for wealthy Southeast Asian businessmen, such as Jho Low, in July 2014. According to “Straight,” Madam Jung provided women from her adult entertainment establishment to entertain the men.

The police are currently investigating this case. PSY was summoned for questioning on June 16 as a witness. The police plan to summon Yang Hyun Suk soon for questioning.
