Update: TWICE To Perform "Fancy" With A Special Dance Break At 2019 M2 X Genie Music Awards

The performance will include a powerful dance break that isn’t part of the usual choreography.

EXID’s Solji and B1A4’s Sandeul will be performing together at the 2019 MGMA!
Solji and Sandeul will be performing a duet song to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Yoon Jong Shin’s monthly project as well as Yoon Jong Shin’s 30-year debut anniversary. With their skills as vocalists, the two singers will be showcasing veteran singer Yoon Jong Shin’s extensive musical world through their performance.
2019 MGMA is set to air live on August 1 at 7 p.m. KST, while “M Countdown” will air before the music awards show at 6 p.m. KST.

Model and TV personality Han Hye Jin will be hosting the 2019 M2 X Genie Music Awards (hereafter 2019 MGMA)!
The organizers of the event shared, “We chose her as the sole female host because the way she became a global top model made us think that she is a good fit for the position.” This is the first time that Han Hye Jin is hosting a big-scale ceremony on her own. She will be changing into various outfits to fit the concept of each section of the ceremony.

IZ*ONE has joined the lineup for the 2019 MGMA!
On July 26, it was announced that the girl group will attend the ceremony and showcase a performance that they have not shown on broadcast.
The lineup for 2019 MGMA now includes Kim Jae Hwan, MAMAMOO, WJSN, Chungha, TXT, PENTAGON, Paul Kim, AB6IX, DAY6, ITZY, TWICE, BVNDIT, NATURE, VERIVERY, and IZ*ONE.

More information has been revealed about the performances that will take place at 2019 MGMA!
On July 25, 2019 MGMA announced that MAMAMOO will be performing a special rock version of their track “gogobebe” as well as an acoustic stage and a “hidden performance.”
Chungha will also be having a special collaboration with 100 dancers from M2’s Studio Choom for a performance of “Gotta Go.”
Meanwhile, as the ambassadors of the 2019 MGMA, Apink’s Bomi and MAMAMOO’s Solar will be releasing self-made content to promote the event on their individual YouTube channels.

Details have been revealed for some of the performances at the 2019 MGMA!
ITZY will be showcasing their first performance of their upcoming comeback track “ICY,” which is set to be released on July 29.
Kim Jae Hwan, TXT, and AB6IX, who are competing for the Male New Artist award, are preparing special stages. Kim Jae Hwan will play electric guitar and piano. TXT will create a special performance with a video that tells the story of their “The Dream Chapter: STAR” album. AB6IX has prepared a powerful introduction dance and will perform “ABSOLUTE” for the first time.
BVNDIT, NATURE, and VERIVERY will be collaborating for a special performance.

2019 MGMA has announced the first lineup!
On July 23, it was announced that Kim Jae Hwan, MAMAMOO, WJSN, Chungha, TXT, PENTAGON, Paul Kim, AB6IX, DAY6, ITZY, TWICE, BVNDIT, NATURE, and VERIVERY will be attending the ceremony.
2019 MGMA is set to take place on August 1 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul.
