Agencies Of The 20 'Produce X 101' Finalists Agree To Support X1's Debut

The agencies of the 20 “Produce X 101” finalists gathered to discuss the futures of their trainees.

According to Sports Seoul, the agencies of the 20 finalists gathered on July 29 to discuss how they will be moving forward in light of the police investigation into the show’s vote manipulation controversy. The representatives of a total of 14 agencies were present, and Mnet was not in attendance this time.

A related personnel told Star Today, “It is true that there was a gathering between the agencies today (July 29). [They] agreed to follow the natural flow of the situation.”

Sports Seoul reported that by the end of the discussion, the agencies agreed that they hoped for X1’s activities to commence quickly, and that they would discuss the matter again when the results of the police investigation are announced.

One of the representatives stated, “This doesn’t mean I fully support X1’s activities. Each representative might have a different opinion on some points, but we all hope for the issue to be resolved quickly. We hope that the issue is dealt with in a speedy way so that the trainees’ dreams to debut can come true soon.”

The spin-off group BY9 was also a topic of discussion, and the 14 agencies agreed that BY9 was a matter that should be discussed separately between the related agencies.

Furthermore, a source from X1’s side confirmed to Newsen, “The 11 members will debut without any member changes. They will make their debut on August 27 as scheduled.”
