August Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular variety shows, using big data collected from July 7 to August 3.
In continuation from last month, MBC’s “I Live Alone” topped the rankings with a brand reputation index of 9,917,786, which is a 9.30 percent decrease compared to July. The words “together,” “friendly,” and “special” showed up in the analysis along with high ranking keywords “Kwak Kyung Taek,” “Park Na Rae,” and “Lee Si Eon.”
JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” came in second place yet again with a reputation index of 8,074,068 points, marking a decrease of 6.11 percent. TV Chosun’s “Wife’s Taste” was ranked third with a brand reputation index of 7,602,953 points, indicating an increase of 111.81 percent compared to last month.
