Courts Set Date For 1st Questioning Between Lai Kuanlin And Cube Entertainment

The courts have set a date for the first questioning in the case between Lai Kuanlin and Cube Entertainment.

According to the legal circle, the Seoul Central District Court will open the first questioning for Lai Kuanlin’s request to suspend his exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment on August 23.

On July 18, Lai Kuanlin notified Cube Entertainment that he was filing a request to suspend their exclusive contract. Lai Kuanlin’s representatives stated, “Due to the various actions taken by Cube Entertainment that violate the exclusive contract, we can no longer trust the agency.”

Cube Entertainment responded and claimed, “We explained every schedule and contract process with Lai Kuanlin and received his permission,” and “We believe there is an influential party that is trying to incite Lai Kuanlin and his family to have sole power of the results of Lai Kuanlin’s success.” His legal representatives responded to the claims made by Cube Entertainment and requested they refrain from making inflammatory remarks.
