Watch: "2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships" Previews Pitching, Wrestling, And Track And Field Events

With just one day left until the program airs, the “2019 Idol Star Athletics Championships – Chuseok Special” showed a preview of three of its competitive events.

There are seven main events in this special: track and field, archery, ssireum (Korean wrestling), pitching, penalty shootouts, eSports, and horseback riding.

The latest preview showed five female idols learning how to pitch a baseball from a professional. The professional advised them, “If you have any ideas of your own [about movements or poses], you can add them in.” ITZY’s Yeji then impressed everyone with her cool pose and strong gaze.

The preview also showed clips from the ssireum event. Both male and female idols practiced for this event with professionals, including members of CIX, fromis_9, and MOMOLAND. MC Leeteuk noted that WJSN’s Eunseo was known for being an ace at ssireum.

The track and field preview focused on Golden Child’s Y, who has taken the gold medal at the 60 meter sprint for two consecutive years. The clip also showed the female idols preparing for the 400 meter relay race, including Weki Meki, WJSN, Oh My Girl, and MOMOLAND.
