Kim Junsu Shares Emotional Message About Making His 1st Public Network Appearance In 10 Years

In the wake of his long-awaited return to public broadcast network television, JYJ’s Kim Junsu opened up about his feelings in a heartfelt post on Instagram.

On December 11, Kim Junsu appeared on the pilot of MBC’s new variety show “House of Sharing” (working title), marking his first appearance on a public broadcast network in 10 years.

Later that night, the singer took to Instagram to share his thoughts and post a photo of a cake celebrating the meaningful occasion. The cake bore the message: “First public network appearance in 10 years! Junsu hyung, only walk a flowery path in the future.”

Kim Junsu wrote in the caption:

It took quite a long time. It was thanks to all of your love and support that I was able to endure and keep going up until this moment today. I want to try to make all of you smile and feel even happier in the future as well. It’s ironic (?) [sic] that I’m being congratulated just for appearing on TV, but it’s also the first day in a long time that I have personally felt this happy and amazed.

Haha, thank you to Min Suk and Dae Han for preparing this [cake].

Shortly afterwards, CJSH The Grace’s Sunday showed her support by writing in the comments, “Junsu, I’m rooting for you.”
