Super Junior’s Kim Heechul and Min Kyung Hoon are joining forces for another exciting collaboration!

As a spin-off project for their hit JTBC variety show “Ask Us Anything,” Heechul and Min Kyung Hoon have taken on the challenge of releasing a new hip hop song together. The two singers have previously released two chart-topping duets through the variety program—”Sweet Dream” and “Falling Blossoms” (also known as “Aftereffects”)—but in contrast to those sentimental ballads, their new hip hop collab will mark uncharted territory for the duo.

On December 18, Heechul and Min Kyung Hoon dropped a music video teaser for their upcoming track “Hanryang” (a Korean word that means “hedonist” or “libertine”), which takes hip hop all the way back to the Joseon era. The song’s lyrics, which were personally penned by Heechul and Min Kyung Hoon, will talk about living life the way one wants to live, no matter what others may say.

“Hanryang,” which was produced by DinDin and features up-and-coming artist BIBI, will mix the hip hop genre with a traditional Korean beat. The music video, which was directed by Super Junior’s Shindong, will also feature a special appearance by popular idol group ATEEZ.

Heechul and Min Kyung Hoon’s new song “Hanryang” will be released online on December 20 at midnight KST. A special video documenting the duo’s journey recording the track together will also be released shortly beforehand—on December 19 at 10:40 p.m. KST—on the official “Ask Us Anything” YouTube channel here.

In the meantime, check out the new music video teaser for “Hanryang” below!
