Watch: Weki Meki Performs "Cool" + Shares Their Reactions To Learning They Would Be Appearing On "Ask Us Anything"

Weki Meki performed at the annual end-of-the-year ceremonies on JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything”!

Back in October, Weki Meki’s Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon appeared in a girl group special on “Ask Us Anything” that pitted 14 girl group members from seven girl groups against each other in a series of hilarious games. Weki Meki took the final win on the show, receiving an invitation for their full group to appear in the closing ceremonies.

The closing ceremonies took place on the show’s December 26 episode. After a brief red carpet event, Weki Meki launched into a performance of their most recent track, “Cool.”

The Weki Meki members then shared their feelings upon hearing of the invitation. Back on the girl group special, when Choi Yoojung realized what the invitation was, she began to cry out of joy in having all her members on the show.

Rina said, “After she finished recording the show, she called us via video chat. But she was in tears. I asked her if she was tired from filming, but she said, ‘You’re all going on ‘Ask Us Anything’! As soon as we heard that, all the members began to cry.”

Rina continued, “I was really grateful [to Choi Yoojung and Kim Doyeon]. They got us work instead of our agency.”

The members then shared what they had prepared, with Kim Doyeon quipping, “We even held preliminaries among ourselves to see what we could bring.” Sei then showed off her animal impressions, from a rabbit to an alpaca, while Lucy showed off her strength in splitting open an apple with her bare hands.
