"Kingdom" Tops List Of Most Buzzworthy Non-Drama TV Shows In 1st Week On Air

Mnet’s “Kingdom: Legendary War” is off to a strong start!

In its first week on air, the new idol competition show has already soared to the top of Good Data Corporation’s list of the non-drama TV shows that generated the most buzz over the past week. The company determines each week’s rankings by analyzing data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media posts about non-drama TV shows that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

After airing its highly-anticipated premiere on April 1, “Kingdom”—the male version of the popular 2019 program “Queendom”—debuted at No. 1 on the list of most buzzworthy non-drama TV shows for the week of March 29 to April 4.

Additionally, three of the groups competing on “Kingdom” made the top 10 on the list of this week’s most buzzworthy non-drama TV appearances. BTOB came in at No. 5 for the week, followed by iKON at No. 8 and THE BOYZ at No. 10.

Meanwhile, IU topped this week’s rankings after appearing on the 100th-episode special of tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block.”
