Watch: "Kingdom" Vocal Units Stress Over Results Of Final Collab Battle In New Preview

Mnet’s “Kingdom: Legendary War” has shared a new sneak peek of its final collaboration battle!

On May 13, the idol competition show aired a preview of its upcoming episode, in which the contestants will wrap up the first part of Round 3. After the “Kingdom” groups’ rap units and dance units went head-to-head this week, the remaining vocal units will be facing off next week.

As previously revealed, THE BOYZ’s New and Sangyeon, SF9’s Inseong and Jaeyoon, and iKON’s Jinhwan and Junhoe will be teaming up to cover Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s “Spark.” Meanwhile, ATEEZ’s Jongho, Stray Kids’ Seungmin, and BTOB’s Eunkwang will join forces for a cover of IU’s “Love Poem.”

The newly released preview begins with a glimpse of the two performances, following which host TVXQ’s Changmin announces, “The final vocal unit battle performances have come to an end.” As the two vocal units nervously await their results, Stray Kids’ Changbin gets equally anxious while watching them from his group’s dressing room, and he exclaims, “What do we do?”

After their performance, Eunkwang comments, “Because there are rankings, I do feel disappointed right now.” Meanwhile, a member of the other unit remarks in voice-over, “I think today is a sad day.”

The clip ends on a cliffhanger, with Changmin about to announce the winner of the vocal battle.

The next episode of “Kingdom” will air on May 20 at 7:50 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the new preview below!
