June Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from May 6 to June 6.

MBC’s “How Do You Play?” held onto its spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 10,688,883 for June.

High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “MSG Wannabe,” “Director Yoo,” and “Jung Joon Ha,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “release,” “tear up,” and “transform.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 87.01 percent positive reactions.

TV Chosun’s “Love Call Center” maintained its position at second place with a brand reputation index of 10,012,181, while Channel A’s “Steel Unit” rose to third place with a total index of 8,752,596, marking a 58.85 percent rise in its score since May.
