OMEGA X Tests Negative For COVID-19 But Will Be Retested And Postpone Event As A Precaution

OMEGA X will be retested for COVID-19 after their initial negative results.

On July 4, OMEGA X’s agency, Spire Entertainment, released a statement on the group’s official fan café.

Hello, this is Spire Entertainment.

First, we’d like to state that the debut showcase for OMEGA X’s first mini album, “VAMOS,” was held in accordance with infection prevention guidelines provided by the disease control authorities.

The debut showcase was held on June 30, and on the evening of July 2, the disease control authorities contacted us as part of their epidemiological surveys. Although the authorities did not request that we get tested, we decided to pre-emptively test our artists and our staff to ensure their safety, and all of us tested negative.

On July 4, we were contacted again to let us know that a confirmed case of COVID-19 had appeared among the people who had been at the showcase. We have decided to postpone the video fan sign event that was to be held today at 7 p.m. KST and all the artists and staff will be retested for COVID-19 as a precaution.

We apologize for causing fans concern. We will continue to follow the public health authorities’ disease prevention guidelines and do our best for our artists’ safety and health.
