OMEGA X To Print More Albums After Debut Release Sells Out In Less Than A Week
OMEGA X’s debut is off to an impressive start!
OMEGA X is a brand-new project group consisting entirely of idols who have already debuted in other groups (most of which have disbanded). Eight of the group’s 11 members have also appeared on audition programs or survival shows, such as Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2,” KBS 2TV’s “The Unit,” JTBC’s “MIXNINE,” and MBC’s “Under 19.”
The group is made up of Hangyeom (Seven O’Clock), Sebin (SNUPER), Yechan (1THE9), Taedong (GIDONGDAE), Xen (Jinwoo of 1TEAM), Jehyun (1TEAM), Jaehan (Spectrum), Hwichan (Raychan of LIMITLESS), Junghoon (J-Kid of ENOi), Hyuk (Gun of ENOi), and Kevin (Jinwoo of ENOi).
Last week, OMEGA X made their official debut with their first mini album “VAMOS” on June 30—and according to their agency, demand for the mini album was so high that it sold out in less than a week.
On July 6, SPIRE Entertainment announced, “OMEGA X’s first mini album ‘VAMOS’ sold out all 20,000 copies of its initial batch before its first week of sales (June 30 to July 6) had ended.”
The agency went on, “Encouraged by this enthusiastic response, we plan to quickly print additional albums.”
Congratulations to OMEGA X on their successful debut!
