Park Bo Young Donates 100,000 Masks To Firefighters

Park Bo Young helped out firefighters during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

On August 6, her agency BH Entertainment shared that the actress donated 100,000 masks to the North Gyeongsang Province Fire Department through the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association last month.

Park Bo Young made this warm gesture to help firefighters and paramedics, who are aiding fires and disasters while struggling with COVID-19 in the heat wave. In particular, she directly purchased the masks that she is currently promoting as an endorsement model and donated them.

The 100,000 masks donated by Park Bo Young will be delivered to firefighters who are struggling at the forefront of COVID-19 in a situation where the level of social distancing has been elevated due to the fourth COVID-19 wave.

Park Bo Young is well-known for making generous donations. She previously donated 50 million won (approximately $43,758.12) to the Community Chest of Korea to help medical staff, the elderly, low-income, and socially disadvantaged families during COVID-19. She also donated 20 million won (approximately $17,502.94) to the Korea Disaster Relief Association to help those affected during flooding and supported young girls from low-income households by donating 30 million won (approximately $27,216) to the NGO (non-governmental organization) Good Neighbors.
