August Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from July 7 to August 7.
TV Chosun’s “Love Call Center” held onto its spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 5,906,290. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Im Young Woong,” “Lee Chan Won,” and “Kim Hee Jae,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “release,” “battle,” and “appear.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 80.75 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, TV Chosun’s “PPONG School” rose to second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 5,017,495, and JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” came in third with a total index of 3,836,288.
SBS’s “Running Man” took fourth place for August with a brand reputation index of 3,836,288, while MBC’s “How Do You Play?” rounded out the top five with a total score of 3,794,704.
