Mnet’s “Girls Planet 999” has shared an exciting preview of next week’s episode!

On the August 13 episode of the new survival show, the 99 contestants split up into teams for the next round of competition. In the program’s “Connect Mission,” the teams will be facing off with covers of hit songs by various idol groups.

For the upcoming battle, the contestants will be covering BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That,” TWICE’s “YES or YES,” Oh My Girl’s “SSFWL,” IZ*ONE’s “FIESTA,” EXO’s “The Eve,” BTS’s “MIC Drop,” and SEVENTEEN’s “Pretty U.”

In the newly released preview of the show’s third episode, the contestants begin practicing for the next round. K-pop masters Sunmi and Jang Ju Hee then warn one team about the importance of teamwork, with Jang Ju Hee remarking, “You came here to sing, right? But you didn’t seem like a team.” Sunmi adds, “[It seems like] each of you is thinking, ‘I’m the best.'”

The clip goes on to show glimpses of the contestants’ performances, as well as the K-pop masters’ reactions. The teams nervously wait to find out whom the K-pop masters have selected as the winner of each round, and both the contestants and the masters are surprised by some of the results.

The next episode of “Girls Planet 999” will air on August 20 at 8:20 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out the preview below!
