ENHYPEN Cancels KCON:TACT HI 5 Appearance Due To Members' COVID-19 Diagnosis

ENHYPEN has announced that they will no longer be performing at KCON:TACT HI 5.

On September 2, ENHYPEN’s agency BELIFT LAB revealed that five of the group’s members—Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon—had tested positive for COVID-19 while in preemptive self-quarantine. The agency also reported that the members are currently exhibiting “light symptoms.”

Following the unfortunate news, BELIFT LAB announced through ENHYPEN’s official Twitter account that the group had would no longer be appearing at KCON:TACT HI 5 as previously scheduled.

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

Hello, this is BELIFT LAB.

After taking [ENHYPEN’s] COVID-19-related self-quarantine schedule and the condition of the artists into consideration, we have cancelled their KCON:TACT HI 5 appearance that was scheduled for Sunday, September 19.

We apologize to all the fans who had been waiting [for ENHYPEN].

BELIFT LAB previously announced last month that the group was preparing to make a comeback in late September, though it is now unclear whether they will have to adjust those plans.

Once again, we wish the ENHYPEN members a speedy and full recovery!
