The first lineup has been revealed for KCON:TACT HI 5!
KCON is a major convention and music festival that celebrates Korean pop culture and entertainment. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began, KCON has been held online. It was recently announced that the fifth KCON:TACT,” titled “KCON:TACT HI 5,” would take place from September 18 to 26.
On August 18, KCON announced that the first lineup for KCON:TACT HI 5 was BTOB, MAMAMOO, ENHYPEN, ONF, GHOST9, Ciipher, and PURPLE KISS.
BTOB, which is currently active as four members, is gearing up for their first comeback since their appearance on Mnet’s “Kingdom: Legendary War.” MAMAMOO is currently in a new stage of their careers after passing the seven-year mark. Although Wheein is searching for a new agency, the four members are continuing to promote as a group.
ENHYPEN, who was formed through the Mnet x BELIFT show “I-LAND,” have proven their “monster rookie” status by entering the Billboard 200 six months after their debut. ONF has steadily risen through the ranks, appearing on shows like “Road to Kingdom” and ranking high on music charts. The group recently released the summer album “Popping.”
Ciipher is a rookie boy group who is produced by Rain, while GHOST9 is a rising boy group who has released four albums in the nine months since their debut. PURPLE KISS is a new girl group and MAMAMOO’s first “sister” group at RBW.
