Watch: ATEEZ Covers The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber's "STAY" On "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook"

ATEEZ showed off their many talents on the latest episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook”!

On the September 17 episode of the popular KBS music talk show, ATEEZ made their first-ever guest appearance as a full group. (Yunho, Seonghwa, and San previously appeared on the show back in June as their characters from the KBS drama “Imitation.”)

After ATEEZ had performed their new title track “Deja Vu,” host Yoo Hee Yeol praised the group by remarking, “As soon as ATEEZ debuted, so many senior artists immediately recognized their potential right away. In ATEEZ’s opinion, what do you think is ATEEZ’s charm?”

San replied, “Whenever we perform on stage, we always perform while thinking it’s our last performance. I think maybe that energy resonated with some senior artists, which might be why they said such nice things [about us].”

Later on in the episode, Jongho impressed Yoo Hee Yeol by singing Toy’s classic ballad “Still Beautiful” two keys higher than the original song—and while splitting apples with his bare hands. Yoo Hee Yeol exclaimed in surprise, “This song is already incredibly high in pitch. Even Kim Yeon Woo has a hard time singing [the original version of] this song, but you’re going to go two keys higher?”

As Yoo Hee Yeol looked on in amazement, Jongho went on to flawlessly pull off the transposed version of the song while also showing off his signature apple-splitting on the spot. (The song begins at 2:05 in the video below.)

Finally, ATEEZ closed out the show by performing a live rendition of The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s smash hit “STAY.”
