Watch: 2PM's Junho And Lee Se Young Joke About Being More Affectionate In Teaser Filming Than In The Actual Drama

MBC shared a behind-the-scenes clip of 2PM’s Junho and Lee Se Young filming the teasers and posters for “The Red Sleeve”!

“The Red Sleeve” is a traditional historical drama that tells the record of an imperial court romance between Seong Deok Im (Lee Se Young), a court lady who wants to protect the life that she has chosen, and emperor Yi San (Junho), who puts the nation first before love.

The behind-the-scenes clip starts with Junho saying, “Today was the first time that we had skinship [close physical contact].” Lee Se Young looks confused and says, “Was this the first time?” Junho explains, “It was the first time that we did a back hug.” He then asks her if she’s remembering anything else, and she responds, “We did a regular hug when we were doing test shoots.” The video then shared a never-before-seen glimpse of the two actors exchanging a hug in character for the test shoots.

Junho then says, “Of the scripts we’ve received so far, there’s nothing like hugging. Not even a little. We’ve only done it a little for teasers and test shoots.”

Although many of the teasers and posters involve Seong Deok Im and Yi San looking at each other in longing, the actors have trouble keeping a straight face as they gaze into each other’s eyes. In another shot, Lee Se Young “challenges” Junho to a mock duel, which he accepts, but quips, “Is this fencing or Harry Potter?” When Lee Se Young climbs up on Yi San’s throne, Junho comments, “It’s like a younger cousin climbing all over an older cousin’s bed.” Lee Se Young jokes, “This isn’t a traditional historical drama but a comic historical drama.”

The video also shows the behind-the-scenes of their couple poster, as well as individual and group posters for the court ladies, King Yeongjo (Lee Deok Hwa), the chief court lady (Park Ji Young), Queen Kim (Jang Hee Jin), and Hong Deok Ro (Kang Hoon).
