January Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from December 2, 2021 to January 2, 2022.
SBS’s “My Little Old Boy,” which won the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2021 SBS Entertainment Awards, topped the list for January. The program scored a total brand reputation index of 5,990,596, marking a 50.48 percent increase in its score since last month.
MBC’s “How Do You Play?” climbed to second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 5,005,453, marking a modest 2.73 percent rise in its score since December.
Finally, TV Chosun’s “Tomorrow’s National Singer” came in third place with a brand reputation index of 4,973,739 for January.
