Watch: Kep1er Covers BTS, NCT, aespa, ITZY, And Girls' Generation On "Weekly Idol"

Kep1er showed off their many talents on the latest episode of “Weekly Idol”!

The “Girls Planet 999” group appeared as guests on the February 2 episode of the MBC every1 variety show, where they performed their debut track “WA DA DA” and played a number of fun games with hosts Kwanghee and MONSTA X‘s Minhyuk, who filled in for Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk as a special MC.

For the program’s signature “Weekly Playlist” segment, Kep1er prepared a dance cover of Girls’ Generation’s iconic hit “The Boys.”

The group also played a game where they split up into teams and had to guess the song that was playing after hearing just half a second of it. Once they guessed the song correctly, they also had to dance to a snippet of it in order to obtain points for their correct answer.

Kim Da Yeon, Seo Young Eun, and Sakamoto Mashiro’s team scored points for correctly guessing—and dancing to—ITZY’s latest title track “LOCO.”

They also proved their dancing skills by pulling off the choreography to NCT 127’s hit “Kick It.”

The same team correctly guessed aespa’s recent remake of S.E.S.’s “Dreams Come True,” but because Kim Da Yeon only knew the choreography for the first half of the chorus, the other Kep1er members were given the opportunity to steal their points by dancing to the song.

While Kang Ye Seo, Shen Xiao Ting, and Ezaki Hikaru correctly guessed BTS’s “Dynamite,” none of them knew the choreography to the chorus—so Kim Da Yeon, Seo Young Eun, and Sakamoto Mashiro’s team stepped in to dance in their stead.

At another point in the show, Ezaki Hikaru showed off her rapping skills with a brief cover of NCT U’s “Misfit.”

Kim Chae Yeon and Seo Young Eun also showcased their vocals by teaming up to cover a snippet of Davichi’s hit song “8282.”

Huening Bahiyyih also performed a dance cover of Jeon Somi‘s “XOXO,” which was released online before the episode aired. (You can check out her cover here!)
