TXT Tops Oricon's Daily Album Chart With Korean Album "minisode 2: Thursday's Child"
TXT’s new mini album has debuted at the top of Oricon’s daily album chart!
On May 17 (over a week after it was first released in Korea), TXT officially released their fourth Korean mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” in Japan.
On the day of its release in Japan, “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” debuted at No. 1 on Oricon’s daily album chart after selling 134,746 copies in Japan alone.
Last year, both TXT’s second Korean studio album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” and its repackaged version “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” also topped Oricon’s daily album chart on the day they were released—as did the group’s Japanese albums “Still Dreaming” and “Chaotic Wonderland.”
In addition to soaring to No. 1 on Oricon’s daily album chart, “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” also previously topped iTunes Top Albums charts in numerous countries around the world, including Japan.
