Watch: Golden Child Covers BTOB, SHINee's Taemin, SEVENTEEN, And Orange Caramel On "Weekly Idol"

Golden Child put their diverse array of charms on display on the latest episode of “Weekly Idol”!

The group appeared as guests on the August 10 episode of the MBC every 1 variety show, where they performed their brand-new title track “Replay” and joked around with the MCs.

Last summer, Golden Child had to cancel their “Summer Breeze” concert that was originally scheduled for July 2021 due to a resurgence of COVID-19 in South Korea. So during the “Weekly Idol” segment in which the guests fulfill various wishes sent in by fans, multiple fans requested that Golden Child perform snippets of the cover performances they had prepared for the concert last year.

In order to make their fans’ wishes come true, Bomin and Jaehyun danced to a brief snippet of SEVENTEEN’s “Pretty U,” while TAG and Donghyun took on part of the choreography to SHINee’s Taemin’s “Goodbye.”

Joining in on the fun, Jangjun, Y, and Joochan then danced as a trio to Orange Caramel’s iconic hit “Magic Girl.”

However, the MCs jokingly called them out for not being perfectly synchronized, with Super Junior’s Eunhyuk accusing them with a laugh, “You guys just practiced this really quickly right before filming started, didn’t you?”

Later, during the program’s “Weekly Playlist” segment, Golden Child covered BTOB’s hit ballad “Only One for Me,” in addition to their own debut song “DamDaDi” and their new B-side “3! 6! 5!” (which is included on their new mini album “AURA”).
