NCT DREAM, NewJeans, Younha, And BLACKPINK Top Circle Monthly Charts

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has revealed its chart rankings for the month of December!

Album Chart

NCT DREAM’s winter special mini album “Candy,” which previously debuted at No. 1 on Circle’s weekly album chart, topped the monthly physical album chart for December.

Red Velvet’s latest mini album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday” rose to No. 2, while BTS’s RM’s solo album “Indigo” entered the chart at No. 3.

ATEEZ’s new single album “SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS” made an impressive debut at No. 4, despite having been released on December 30—just two days before the end of the month.

Finally, ITZY’s mini album “CHESHIRE,” which debuted at No. 1 on last month’s chart, stayed strong at No. 5.

Overall Digital Chart

Younha maintained her double crown on the Circle charts for December, topping both the overall digital chart and the streaming chart with her viral hit “Event Horizon.”

Rookie girl groups continued to dominate the overall digital chart, where NewJeans’ “Hype Boy” climbed to No. 2, followed by LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE” at No. 3 and IVE’s “After LIKE” at No. 4.

Finally, “Show Me the Money 11” rappers JUSTHIS, Don Malik, Huh, KHAN, Mckdaddy, and Los’ collaboration “MY WAY” (produced by R.Tee) debuted at No. 5.

Streaming Chart

The top four songs on this month’s streaming chart were exactly the same as the overall digital chart: Younha’s “Event Horizon” remained No. 1, followed by NewJeans’ “Hype Boy” at No. 2, LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE” at No. 3, and IVE’s “After LIKE” at No. 4.

Finally, (G)I-DLE’s “Nxde” rounded out the top five for December.

Lim Young Woong continued to dominate the digital download chart this month, sweeping both of the top two spots with his hits “London Boy” and “Polaroid.”

NCT DREAM’s “Candy” debuted at No. 3 on the chart, trailed by NewJeans’ “Ditto” at No. 4.

Finally, BTS’s Jungkook’s FIFA World Cup 2022 song “Dreamers” (featuring FIFA Sound) stayed strong at No. 5.

Global K-Pop Chart

NewJeans’ hit pre-release single “Ditto” debuted at No. 1 on the monthly Global K-Pop Chart, which is based on global streaming.

LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE” stayed strong at No. 2, with NewJeans’ “Hype Boy” at No. 3, BLACKPINK’s “Shut Down” at No. 4, and IVE’s “After LIKE” at No. 5.

Social Chart

BLACKPINK continued their reign at No. 1 on the social chart for December, with BTS similarly maintaining their position at No. 2.

NewJeans climbed to No. 3 this month, followed by Choi Yu Ree at No. 4 and Lim Young Woong at No. 5.
