IN2IT Changes Group Name To SKYE

IN2IT is rebranding as SKYE!

On March 16, the group took to Twitter to officially announce their name change from IN2IT to SKYE. The name SKYE is a combination of “SKY” and “Emotion” and represents the meaning of showcasing their various emotions through music, just like the various kinds of weather in the sky.

They commented, “Hello, this is IN2IT. IN2IT will newly begin promotions with the team name SKYE. From our debut on October 26, 2017 until now, we’ve made happy memories with IN2U [IN2IT’s fan club]. We sincerely thank IN2U who has loved IN2IT and ask for lots of support for and interest in SKYE’s new steps.”

Formed on Mnet’s 2016 survival show “BOYS24,” IN2IT made their debut in October 2017 as an eight-member team with their album “Carpe Diem” and title track “Amazing.” Following the departures of Jinsub and Kim Sunghyun, IN2IT has been a six-member group with Jiahn, Yeontae, Inho, Hyunuk, Isaac, and Inpyo since September 2019. In February 2020, IN2IT announced their contract termination with MMO Entertainment and has been promoting independently ever since.

IN2IT recently appeared on JTBC’s “Peak Time,” a new competition program featuring male idols who have already debuted, but was eliminated in the first round.
