Former NU'EST Member Ren Confirmed To Make Solo Debut

Ren is gearing up for his highly-anticipated solo debut!

On May 18, News1 reported that Ren will be releasing his solo debut album this coming June. In response to the reports, Ren’s agency Big Planet Made shared, “Ren (Choi Min Ki) is preparing for his first solo album with the aim of releasing [the album] is June. Please show lots of anticipation as Ren takes on a new challenge.”

Ren debuted as a member of NU’EST in 2012, and he has since then released numerous hit songs as well as starred in musicals such as “Jamie” and “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.” Although Ren previously released solo songs including “LOCO (9:00 pm),” “PARADISE,” “YOU & I,” and “ROCKET ROCKET,” this will mark his first solo album since his debut.

Following NU’EST’s disbandment last year, Ren signed with Big Planet Made in May 2022. He was also confirmed to star in his first K-drama “I Have Waited a Long Time for You” (literal title).
