October Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for rookie idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various rookie idol groups, using big data collected from September 3 to October 3. Only idols who debuted in 2022 or later were considered for the rankings.

NewJeans topped the list for the sixth consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 4,367,463 for October. High-ranking phrases in NewJeans’ keyword analysis included “Super Shy,” “Hype Boy,” and “League of Legends Worlds,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “surpass,” “collaborate,” and “achieve.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 90.87 percent positive reactions.

LE SSERAFIM held onto their spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 1,389,556, while ZEROBASEONE came in at a close third with an index of 1,328,695.

BOYNEXTDOOR shot to fourth place after seeing an impressive 215.03 percent increase in their brand reputation index since last month, bringing their total score to 991,335 for October. Finally, H1-KEY rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 857,396.
