Stray Kids Ties BTS's Record For K-Pop Act With Most RIAA Gold Album Certifications In U.S.

Stray Kids has gone gold with another album in the United States!

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has now awarded Stray Kids’ 2022 mini album “MAXIDENT” an official gold certification for selling over 500,000 units in the United States.

“MAXIDENT” is Stray Kids’ fourth album to be certified gold by the RIAA, following “★★★★★ (5-STAR),” “ROCK-STAR,” and “ATE.” It also marks their eighth RIAA gold certification overall, as the group previously went gold in the United States with their singles “God’s Menu,” “MANIAC,” “Back Door,” and “Thunderous.”

Stray Kids has now tied BTS’s record for the the most albums to be certified gold by the RIAA of any K-pop artist: to date, both groups have gone gold with four different albums in the United States.
