Seol In Ah Reflects On Her Bold New Role In “Oh My Ghost Clients,” What Draws Her To The Drama, And More

Seol In Ah is gearing up to showcase a bold new side of herself in MBC’s upcoming drama “Oh My Ghost Clients”!

“Oh My Ghost Clients” is a new comedy-action drama starring Jung Kyung Ho as Noh Moo Jin, a labor attorney who can see ghosts.

Seol In Ah stars as Na Hee Joo, the brain and brawn of Moo Jin’s law office. Alongside her brother-in-law Noh Moo Jin and video creator Go Kyun Woo (Cha Hak Yeon), Hee Joo teams up to help the vengeful spirits of workers who died unjustly. Seol In Ah teased, “Thanks to Hee Joo, I’m currently living in a whole new way.”

While “Oh My Ghost Clients” deals with heavy topics surrounding real labor issues, it blends fantasy elements to deliver its message with humor and energy. Seol In Ah shared, “When I read the script, I was drawn to how the message of the drama and its story were so well-aligned and effectively conveyed.” She added, “What especially attracted me was that this is director Yim Soon Rye’s first drama, and I was excited to work with Jung Kyung Ho and Cha Hak Yeon. There was no reason not to do it—I really wanted to join this team.”

Known for portraying “first love” and “muse” characters in previous works, Seol In Ah is expected to shed that image in “Oh My Ghost Clients” with a bold, daring, and unapologetic portrayal. As Hee Joo, who fiercely reacts to the injustices faced by the ghosts, her outbursts of anger and decisive actions promise to deliver cathartic, refreshing moments for viewers.

Describing her character, Seol In Ah said, “Hee Joo is like a squad leader who can’t stand injustice. When faced with a problem, she either comes up with clever solutions or charges ahead without hesitation. I thought, ‘This would be a fun character to play.’” She added, “I tried to push myself to the limit with what I have and really amplify those traits.”

She also shared, “Because Hee Joo is so fiery and can’t tolerate anything unfair, I worried that she might come off as ‘just’ strong. So I focused on making sure her actions and intentions would resonate with viewers—that they’d see her as smart and reliable.”
