
Jun Ji Hyun Offers A Handshake To Kang Dong Won Who Saves Her Life In New Drama "Tempest"
Disney+’s upcoming drama “Tempest” has unveiled its first set of stills!
“Tempest” follows Moon Ju (Jun Ji Hyun), a renowned UN ambassador who sets out to uncover the truth behind an assassination attempt on a presidential candidate, and San Ho (Kang Dong Won), a special agent of unknown nationality who must protect her, as they confront a massive truth that threatens the Korean Peninsula.
The newly released stills feature Moon Ju and San Ho—both swept up in a world-shaking incident—as well as other characters who hint at a powerful presence.
First, Moon Ju is seen attending a mass prayer for peaceful reunification, exuding unique dignity. The tranquil atmosphere before the tragic gunshot rings out creates a subtle sense of tension.
San Ho, the enigmatic special agent, keeps a sharp eye on his surroundings as he protects Moon Ju, his extraordinary charisma fueling curiosity about his true identity.
Images of Moon Ju and San Ho standing face to face heighten anticipation for their story as they search for the truth amid a whirlwind of suspicion and danger.
Meanwhile, Anderson (John Cho), the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, is seen with a stern facial expression among high-ranking officials at the White House, raising questions about the looming threat they face.
In addition, Ok Seon (Lee Mi Sook), the formidable chairwoman of Ahseom Shipping who wields immense influence in Korea’s political and business circles; Jun Ik (Park Hae Joon), a leading presidential candidate; Kyeong Shin (Kim Hae Sook), the current president with calm charisma; and Jun Sang (Oh Jung Se), a prosecutor recognized for his outstanding abilities and awarded Prosecutor of the Year—are all characters brought to life by a stellar cast, creating powerful synergy. Their intertwined stories promise a highly immersive narrative that raises viewers’ anticipation even further.
